Do Internet Service Providers Have a Responsibility to...
Over the years, society has found ways to record sexual experiences via paint, print, film and with recent technology, the Internet. Society has used every technological step forward to portray the sexual act. With each step forward this has increased the pornography forum to a broader audience. This audience is being propelled by a powerful urge to see images of sex. Nowadays pornography and the Internet, go hand in hand. However who is regulating this material, the website companies want to make the most revenue possible and are not going to alter what is placed on the site because certain groups might find it offensive. Therefore the issue must be raised with Internet Service Providers (ISP), that would take responsibility forâ⬠¦show more contentâ⬠¦With the Internet not being confined to national or international boundary, each country regulates pornography within its own national jurisdiction. Australia for example, regulates pornography using a rating system. Since early 1999, any Internet pornography considered offensive or illegal has evaluated by Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA). Highest rating in Australia would be ââ¬Å"RCâ⬠which includes content of illegal material, such as sexual abuse of children; anything that falls within this classification is strictly prohibited on the Internet. The ACMA, issues rights and responsibilities to Internet Service Providers (ISP) to regulate the information being contributed to the World Wide Web. However this does not include websites that originate from other countries allowing a loophole in the regulations. So who should the responsibility fall upon? The differences in laws from country to country are a major contributing factor. Could the introduction of a united Censorship help to combat the every growing pornography debate. With the need to censor pornography, there are many factors that need to be considered. In the past, the arguments involved have always been central focused upon immoral and religious views of pornography. In society today discussing the regulations of the sexually explicit material, would involve understanding the principles of legislating against such imagery. Ideas of rating pornography on

Computer Resource Using Virtualization Technology
Among these SPE process, we focus on load generating of performance testing. There are many load generating tools like Load Runner [13] and Silk Performer [14]. However, tools cannot cover every testing scenario. In a server/client environment, client sends information to server generally. However, server may send information to client. Existing tools cannot support that scenario. If a tool does not understand communication protocol, it cannot generate load and if DUT[2] uses new technique that tool does not support, it cannot generate load. In those situations, we cannot use existing load generating tool and we may have to use many real computers and lot of people are required to operate software on those computers which is notâ⬠¦show more contentâ⬠¦Architecture of the tool The overall architecture of the tool is presented in Figure 1. Virtual computers are generated from real server. The number of virtual computers generated from a real server depends on the scenario under which the DUT[2] is to be analyzed. Each Virtual Computer has a different IP Address. Thus, each virtual computer acts as an individual client. The user (tester) just interacts with the physical computer and executes the python scripts present. These scripts activate the virtual computers which interact with the DUT[2] and generate traffic depending on the profile which the user selects before the test begins. Virtualization is a technique that abstracts computing resource. It enables the users to create a simulated environment and use the resources effectively. Virtualization is divided into several categories as purpose such as server virtualization, network virtualization, desktop virtualization, application virtualization and so on [15]. In this paper, we use desktop virtualization technique to perform software performance test. There are a lot of desktop virtualization products such as VMWARE [16], Virtual PC [17], Parallels [18], Virtual Box [19] and so on. We selected VMWARE because it is the most frequently used product and it uses computing resource efficiently. It enables the users to use all the CPU cores effectively. It also has high compatibility with various

Definition of Digital Shadow Economy â⬠Free Samples to Students
Question: Discuss about the Definition of Digital Shadow Economy. Answer: Introduction: As a student of Finance, the topic was selected for the study as Bitcoin is the current digital currency that serves as decentralized financial open source software as well as providing an optimal combination of cryptography, peer-to-peer networking, digital encryption and online transactions (Ciaian, Rajcaniova Kancs, 2016). After taking Finance Stream, students are needed to carry out research that they find it interesting. To that, Bitcoin was a recent topic that was quite interesting and informative at the same time where Financial and technical knowledge is essential to understand the concept in a better way. It is for this reason why the topic on Bitcoin was selected to gain insights of information on how far newly digital currency helps the financial economy as a whole. Due to lack of financial resources, it was not possible to conduct the research for the entire economy on the usage of Bitcoin, so German economy had been selected to see how their economy thinks of Bitcoin as a digital currency in an effective way (Devine, Egger-Sider Rojas, 2015). To find out the perceptions of individuals on what they think about Bitcoin To determine the impact of Bitcoin on the German economy (Devine, Egger-Sider Rojas, 2015) The main aim of the research study is to explore the use of Bitcoin so that there is future technological advancement, free trade transactions as well as storing of monetary sums in a safe repository in a well-designed format (Ciaian, Rajcaniova Kancs, 2016). Literature Review As rightly put forward by Bhme et al., (2015), Bitcoin can be present at its nascent stage where study regarding the topic is quite limited by nature. This currency had been evolving over past decades in and across the globe based on the regulations as well as value that depends upon exchange rate fluctuations. According to Bouri et al., (2014), the architecture of Bitcoin has even margin of error where it lead to fraudulent activities as it is treated as an unavoidable and inevitable factor. This digital currency in real actually uses the concept of global digital single currency where it allows for cryptographic proof to solve any problem of over-printing of traditional money as it contributes towards inflation rates and other benefits. Bitcoin help in keeping record of transactions that is known as block chain that acts as a public ledger. There are mainly four types of variables that are identified in the ecosystem such as regulation, accessibility as well as security and acceptance (O'brien Williams, 2016). The present research study determines on the research of an economy and analyzing the impact of Bitcoin that best fit on it (Ciaian, Rajcaniova Kancs, 2016). The researcher had limited resources and that is the reason why economy of Germany had been selected for the present case study. Bitcoin is a virtual currency that had been recognized by the German Finance Ministry as a unit of account that is used for tax as well as trading activities in the country. Here, Bitcoin cannot be only treated as e-money or a foreign currency as the Finance Ministry is of the opinion that Bitcoin is a financial instrument that comes under German banking rules. It is private money that can be utilized in multilateral cleaning circles (Garcia et al., 2014). A member of the Finance Committee of German had some legal classification of bitcoins where he was of the opinion that competition should prevail in the production of money and there should be scheme present to denationalize money (Wonglimpiyarat, 2016). It is a known fact that Bitcoin is a digital currency that helps the users for exchanging online credits for goods as well as services. None of the central bank issue Bitcoin because this digital currency can only be created online by the help of computer for completing the tough tasks that is known as mining. 1 Bitcoin is worth of over $119 (Devine, Egger-Sider Rojas, 2015). According to new ruling, the German Authorities came with a strategy and prepared regulations on how to tax Bitcoin transactions. In one of the German newspaper (Die Welt), it was clearly highlighted on how government had stated regarding the legal classification of Bitcoin that directly reveals commercial profits being raised by use of currency that may be taxable. The research Director at Forex.com in one of the News channel shows (CNBC) said that classification by the German Government had given Bitcoin legitimacy to be treated as a settlement currency in this economy and this can be considered to be putting large step forward for the Bitcoin movement (Vigna Casey, 2016). It can be stated that the success of Bitcoin majorly lies on regulatory fair treatment as well as existence of other currencies (Ciaian, Rajcaniova Kancs, 2016). It can be classified as negative aspect if Bitcoin is treated to be a criminal tool that can be used for money laundering purpose or making any transactions possible that are not legal or authorized. The regulation of Bitcoin had been one of the interesting topics from past couple of years where it can be seen that several companies are getting engaged or associated with Bitcoin as part of an inquiry into the trade activities of the industry that involves Federal Bureau of Investigation and Department of Homeland Security for investigating the currency (Ruan, 2017). From the three types of research philosophy, it becomes essential for the researcher to select the best philosophy according to the research study (Ciaian, Rajcaniova Kancs, 2016). In this study, researcher will be using Positivism philosophy as the research collect quantitative data for the study. Interpretivism research philosophy cannot be used for the study as qualitative data are not collected in the study and does not deal with emotional side of human mankind. Same with the case with realism research philosophy as it cannot be used for the present research study because mixed collection method is not used in the study (Maddox et al., 2016). From the two types research approach, it becomes essential for the researcher to select the best approach according to the research study. In this particular study, researcher will be using deductive approach where data will be analyzed and drawn conclusions at the end. Inductive approach is not applicable in the study as innovative approach is not applied in the study as Bitcoin is a known concept and analysis had been done to highlight the importance of Bitcoin in financial economy (Remeikiene, Gaspareniene Schneider, 2017). Data collection methods and Data Analysis There are three ways by which data can be collected and these are quantitative data collection methods, qualitative data collection methods and mixed methods. Quantitative data collection methods mean use of questionnaire or survey analysis to collect the data from the respondents or participants (Hendrickson, Hogan Luther, 2016). Qualitative data collection mean use of interview and thematic analysis to collect the required data needed for the current study. The present research study uses exploratory research design by conducting questionnaire method that is based on purposive sampling technique where samples are divided into two broad groups of society (Ciaian, Rajcaniova Kancs, 2016). The first group is corporate or business participants or respondents and the second group is the individual respondents or participants. Based on the perception of Bitcoin, the total sample participants had been divided into parts such as person who are pro- Bitcoin, person who are anti- Bitcoin and person who are neural towards Bitcoin and lastly person who have no idea or unaware of Bitcoin (Gimigliano, 2016). The sample will be collected by the researcher by distributing detailed questionnaire to the respondents. The questionnaire are prepared to aware people about Bitcoin and designed as such to highlight the identified variables (Devine, Egger-Sider Rojas, 2015). The mode of survey that will be used by the researcher is email as well as telephonic discussions or it can be personal face-to-face meetings in order to collect data. This form of interaction help in reducing the overall cost of the research and require less time. This research instrument (survey) will be selected by the researcher for getting access to effective data as well as help in analyzing purpose (Franklin, 2016). The survey method will be adopted by the researcher for assessing the awareness of digital currencies such as Bitcoin in Germany and getting information about the opinion of professionals that operates in economic and financial fields on the impact of Bitcoin on the financial economy with respect to Germany as well as gauges with the responses of different variables used in the study such as accessibility, acceptance, regulations and security. It is important to gather information to understand the market requirements in Germany and compliance of Bitcoin to it (Ciaian, Rajcaniova Kancs, 2016). The sample size is 70 that will be divided equally between two groups (business groups and individual groups). The questions will be asked to the person who is economic professional, financial professional as well as multinational enthusiasts and executives of financial firms in Germany. It is even noted that some of the industries in Germany have already adopted use of Bitcoin by accepting the mode of currency as it is surveyed as well as assessed based on experience and judgment (Devine, Egger-Sider Rojas, 2015). In the first group of users (corporate or business users), questions are asked to top level Executives as well as managers of companies that are based in Germany. The second group of users (individual users) where the user forms the market base of Bitcoin. These users do not have proper understanding of Bitcoin. It is for this reason questions are designed in a way that starts with simple questions. The questions attempt to find the awareness among the people about Bitcoin first in terms of online transactions (Ciaian, Rajcaniova Kancs, 2016). The questionnaire had been divided into two broad sections that include Section A with recording time spent by the respondents on internet, purpose of it as well as frequency of using online transaction facilities. In section B, the questions attempts to find out level of awareness among the individual about Bitcoin. The questionnaires will be circulated by using communication channels such as Emails and other social networking sites such as Facebook and LinkedIn (Devine, Egger-Sider Rojas, 2015). Representations in The Avengers free essay sample
In The Avengers, many different groups are represented that we should take into consideration: male/female, black/white, able-bodied/handicapped, Americans/â⬠foreignersâ⬠. However, what Iââ¬â¢ve discovered as Iââ¬â¢ve been analysing The Avengers is that many of these groups are not shown stereotypically and this is what I am going to discuss and explore throughout this essay. To begin, we should start with the most basic, opposite representation shown in The Avengers ââ¬â male/female. Although itââ¬â¢s very easy for most of us to easily dismiss The Avengers as sexist, due to its lack of females besides Black Widow within The Avengers themselves, and due to her tight-fitting attire, if we take a closer look at the way various females are represented, we discover almost the opposite. Black Widow does, admittedly, wear a leather catsuit ââ¬â often linked to connotations of promiscuity and sexuality ââ¬â however, the catsuit is actually much more realistic compared to Hawkeyeââ¬â¢s own attire. We will write a custom essay sample on Representations in The Avengers or any similar topic specifically for you Do Not WasteYour Time HIRE WRITER Only 13.90 / page Despite both agents working for S.H.I.E.L.D, Hawkeyeââ¬â¢s arms are exposed due to the way his uniform is tailored, and he actually shows more skin than Black Widow, leaving not only more prone to attack, but more prone to attracting the wide eyed women who enjoy Jeremy Renner. Although this is a small detail, this could be a hint at the costume department trying to sexualize the males as well as the females (as I said, Black Widow is still admittedly wearing a catsuit). The male/female binary opposite is also demonstrated in the very few scenes, or perhaps even scene, where Tony Stark and Pepper Potts are together. Although Pepper is dressed in shorts and a loose shirt, she is very much relaxing, and this would be typical wear, with Tony being dressed to the same level of casual. Camera angles are also not used to make Pepper appear shorter than Tony, which would in turn connote she was less dominant. Camera angles actually work in Black Widowââ¬â¢s favour earlier on in the film, when she is being interrogated a low angle is used, to show that in fact she has the dominance in this situation. The Avengers is not afraid to embrace the idea of strong, powerful females in a movie full of macho supermen, and try their best to keep women on par, despite the h igh levels of testosterone. Although there is not many points to be made about the representations of the black/white binary opposite, the few that are there are important to point out; the most important possibly being that Nick Fury in the comics is, in fact, white. It would not have been difficultà to find an actor with Samuel Jacksonââ¬â¢s ability at acting ââ¬Å"badassâ⬠that was white, but the fact the casting team chose Samuel Jackson to portray Nick Fury proves they do not believe the skin colour of a character should define them. I believe this is an important point to make, as to show how this film ââ¬â and the franchise generally ââ¬â does not define their characters, and allows the audience to broaden their mental horizons with different casting options. Nick Fury is also the only man who seems to be able to control all of the Avengers, and is known as a man of high rank and power. Even without the use of both of his eyes, he is still shown as a man to be feared and a natural born leader ââ¬â he is, in fact, shown without weakness ââ¬â unlike the characters played by white actors such as Robert Downey Jr and Tom Hiddleston, whose characters both have weaknesses (Tonyââ¬â¢s ââ¬Å"heartâ⬠, and Lokiââ¬â¢s arrogance). This leads straight onto the representations of the able-bodied/handicapped. While I myself would consider both Nick Fury and Tony Stark to be handicapped, many of The Avengers fans no longer see Furyââ¬â¢s impaired vision and Starkââ¬â¢s man-made heart to be handicaps, as the way they have been represented. Not only does Tony Stark use his handicap in battle, he is often portrayed as the hero, with low camera angles, bright lighting and the team depending on him. Nick Fury, as mentioned above, is shown valiantly at the leader of a group of incredibly over-powered people, and yet he still manages to keep a hold over them. In fact, it seems the able-bodied here are shown as the less ââ¬Ëusefulââ¬â¢ group, as Tony demonstrates multiple times how he (using his suit, powered by his heart) can do things the others would not be able to. He is shown to have the power of a Norse god, Thor, which somewhat demeans the latter. A final two representations to look at are the ones of the Americans, and anyone who isnââ¬â¢t American. Of course, Captain America (Steve Rogers) is the obvious first choice to look at. Hailed as being the ââ¬Ëgoodââ¬â¢ member of The Avengers who often does no wrong, itââ¬â¢s clear that he is walking propaganda, his costume also closely resembling the American flag not only by colour, but by the star also. The Norse gods, Thor and Loki, are both shown to do bad within the first hour of the film. Loki is, of cours e, the main villain, and Thor attempts to kill ââ¬â or at least incapacitate ââ¬â Iron Man and Captain America, the ââ¬Ëheroesââ¬â¢ of the story. However it should be noted that the colour of Thorââ¬â¢s attire does also closely match the colours of the American flag, which lead me to believeà they did that almost to show he was to become a ââ¬Ëgood guyââ¬â¢, unlike Loki, who mainly wears green ââ¬â a connotation of envy. Envy for The Avengers, or envy for America? I have a feeling I know which it really is. In conclusion, although The Avengers enjoys challenging most of the social norms throughout this film by depicting Black Widow as the agent she should be and by letting Nick Fury proudly reign over his superhero squad, it ââ¬â like many other Hollywood blockbusters ââ¬â has fallen prey to the train of American propaganda, portraying the group of jolly Americans as winners, and the Nordic god and his army as losers. Metaphors in The Play ââ¬ÅAs You Like Itââ¬Â Essay Essays
Metaphors in The Play ââ¬Å"As You Like Itâ⬠Essay Essays Metaphors in The Play ââ¬Å"As You Like Itâ⬠Essay Essay Metaphors in The Play ââ¬Å"As You Like Itâ⬠Essay Essay Essay Topic: As You Like it In his drama. ââ¬Å"As You Like It. â⬠and by and large in all his authorship William Shakespeare uses a batch of metaphors. In. ââ¬Å"As You Like It. â⬠he has Rosalind who is disguised as male child named Ganymede use an interesting metaphor that explores the relationship between the ingestion of clip and the motion of a Equus caballus based on temper or pleasance. In my sentiment the lone ground that Rosalind of all time uses the metaphor is to seek to convert Orlando. the adult male she has fallen in love with and knows that he loves her. that she is wise when it comes to love and that she as Ganymede could bring around his love by giving him love lessons. The metaphor proves to be effectual because by the terminal of their conversation Orlando is convinced that Ganymede could bring around him. When Rosalind foremost approaches Orlando disguised as Ganymede she asks him for the clip. Orlando answers by stating that there is no manner to cognize the clip in this wood because there are no redstem storksbills. He says that it would be more appropriate to inquire for the clip of twenty-four hours. Rosalind follows this up by stating. ââ¬Å"Then there is no true lover in the wood. else suspiring every minute and moaning every hr would observe the lazy pes of clip every bit good as a clock. â⬠( III. two ; 275-77 ) . By this she means that a true lover is merely every bit good at stating clip as a clock because they are ever believing about the 1 they love and every minute they sigh and every hr the moan. Orlando admirations why Rosalind said the lazy pes of clip instead than the fleet pes of clip because he thinks it would hold been merely as appropriate. Rosalind explains how clip travels at different velocities for different people and how she could state who clip promenades for. who clip jogs for. who clip gallops for. and who clip stands still for. Orlando asks her about each velocity and Rosalind gives an illustration of the sort of individual who would hold clip move at each gait. When Orlando asks who clip jogs for Rosalind says. ââ¬Å"Marry. he trot difficult with a immature amah between the contract on her matrimony and the twenty-four hours it is solemnized. If the interim be but a seââ¬â¢nnight. times gait is so difficult that it seems the length of seven twelvemonth. â⬠( III. two ; 285-88 ) . By this she means that between the clip a adult female gets engaged and the twenty-four hours of her nuptials clip seems to travel easy. This is because the adult female is exited and dying. A weekââ¬â¢s clip could look like 7 old ages. It is my belief that clip ever moves the antonym of how you want it to. When Orlando asks who clip promenades for Rosalind replies. ââ¬Å"With a priest that lacks Latin and a rich adult male that hath non the urarthritis. for the lone slumber easy because he can non analyze and the other unrecorded happily because he feels no hurting ââ¬â he one missing load of thin and uneconomical acquisition. the other cognizing no load of heavy boring indigence. These clip ambles however. â⬠( III. two ; 290-95 ) . To mosey is to walk in a easy manner. Both the priest and rich adult male have reasonably easy lives in which they are non really busy. Because they do non make anything clip seems to travel easy. When Orlando asks who clip gallops for Rosalind answers with. ââ¬Å"With a stealer to the gallows. for though he travel quietly as pes can fall. he thinks himself excessively shortly at that place. â⬠( III. two ; 297-98 ) . A stealer on his manner to the gallows walks every bit slow as he perchance can but clip still seems to travel so fast. This is another illustration of how clip seems to travel the antonym of how you want it excessively. When Orlando asks who clip stands still for Rosalind says. ââ¬Å"With attorneies in the holiday. for they sleep between term and term. and they perceive non how clip moves. â⬠( III. two ; 300-01 ) . Lawyers on holiday sleep off their vacations and have no sense of clip. To them it is similar clip is non traveling at all. Whenever I am on holiday I normally sleep it off and when I do wake I have no thought how much clip has past. I have been playing association football for about 6 old ages now and I have learned that at my games clip either mover fast or decelerate. Normally when my squad is winning clip moves slow because I want the game to stop. When my squad is losing clip seems to travel fast because I do non desire the game to win. I want my squad to come back and win. I have learned that clip neer works the manner you want it excessively. Shakespeareââ¬â¢s metaphors add a batch of intending to his authorship. Without them he might non be every bit good cognize as he is now. The metaphor in. ââ¬Å"As You Like It. â⬠adds a batch to the narrative. It non merely adds affect but besides plays a function in the plot line. If Rosalind had non used she may hold non been able to convert Orlando to take love lessons with her and that would do a immense alteration in the narrative.
